Quilt Making Skill Building
Are you sometimes dissatisfied with your completed quilt top? Do you feel your piecing skills could use some improvement? Whether you're an experienced quilter who wants to improve your quilting skills, or someone who is just getting started this is the class for you.
We will feature a different skill each week and show you a variety of techniques to help make you precise when you piece. You will learn problem solving skills - how to look at what you've done and evaluate it objectively to figure out what is causing a problem and how to fix it. You may pick and choose from the sessions offered or you may sign-up for all five classes.
Session 1 - 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Just the Basics
Rotary cutting, 1/4" seam allowance, quilting terminology, fabric and pattern selection, basic tools - all the things you need to know to get started in the wonderful world of making quilts and other quilted objects.
