Are you sometimes dissatisfied with your completed quilt top? Do you feel your piecing skills could use some improvement? Whether you're an experienced quilter who wants to improve your quilting skills, or someone who is just getting started this is the class for you.
We will feature a different skill each week and show you a variety of techniques to help make you precise when you piece. You will learn problem solving skills - how to look at what you've done and evaluate it objectively to figure out what is causing a problem and how to fix it. You may pick and choose from the sessions offered or you may sign-up for all five classes.
Sessions 2 -
Strip Piecing Squares and Rectangles
You'll learn fast, accurate cutting techniques for strips, squares and rectangles, the importance of an accurate 1/4" seam allowance and how to achieve it, troubleshooting if your strip sets don't turn out the right size and proper pressing techniques so your strip sets don't arc.
