We are excited to announce a series with local quilter extraordinaire, David Taylor, this summer. Even if you don’t know the name, you’ve likely seen his work. His pictorial quilts have been featured and awarded in national and international shows for years. He will kick off this series with a lecture presentation all about what he does, and how he does it. The next three classes will get hands-on with technique and quilting, beginning and advanced. David Taylor will relate, through a digital slide show and amusing anecdotes, how he creates his art quilts that look more like paintings. From his unique pattern-drawing method, to fabric selection, quilting and binding, his entire process is covered. A natural storyteller, David will keep his students enraptured during this three-hour lecture class.
