2024 Quilt of the Year

Ten-month class beginning

10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

You've been asking Laura to repeat some of her previous quilt of the year designs, and she has been listening. She has selected one of her favorite quilts to resurrect for 2024.

This sampler quilt was designed with the beginning quilter in mind. You will learn a variety of piecing techniques as well as hand and machine applique. We will start with the easy blocks and work toward those that require more advanced skills. We will make one block a month for nine months and assemble the quilt the tenth month.

The class will meet the second Saturday of the month. Laura will give you instructions and demonstrate the block at the beginning of class. You may bring your sewing machine and work on the block here or do your work at home.

The class fee includes materials and, if you wish, an appointment to have Laura help you select your fabrics.
