Are you sometimes dissatisfied with your completed quilt top? Do you feel your piecing skills could use some improvement? Whether you're an experienced quilter who wants to improve your quilting skills, or someone who is just getting started this is the class for you.
We will feature a different skill each week and show you a variety of techniques to help make you precise when you piece. You will learn problem solving skills - how to look at what you've done and evaluate it objectively to figure out what is causing a problem and how to fix it. You may pick and choose from the sessions offered.
Foundation Paper Piecing
Have you admired quilts with precise points and irregular shapes and been intimidated by the idea of making one yourself? Let us show you how straight forward foundation paper piecing is. We'll teach you how to figure out how much larger fabric pieces need to be cut in order to cover your paper foundations, tricks for fabric placement on the foundations and perfect trimming techniques.
